two schools of thought

  • put this in the renderer
  • put this super deeply in the node interface

this affects if the network format includes estimate dates

actually typing this out it seems better in the interface, estimates can be default generated for you, or if a better source of an estimate can be provided (??? not sure when), then this can be given as a function. clients dont care where the data comes from.
